The Romanesque tower of Saint-Arbogast church is unique in that it was built in brick. Composed of yellow bricks and pink sandstone blocks at the corners of its base, the tower has 4 storeys that can be identified by the openings on each floor. It is covered by a gable roof, with two triangular gables held together by a framework. Its Romanesque heritage can be seen in the only surviving Romanesque window on the east side of the ground floor. Given the construction techniques used for the various windows, it has been assumed that this tower was built around 1150.
