Église protestante

Presentation

Only the base of the bell tower and the interior doorway leading to the nave are Romanesque. This western doorway to the nave is surmounted by a beautifully crafted frieze of palmettes and a pediment depicting chimeras facing each other. The jambs are adorned with engaged columns with cubic capitals decorated with opposing heads. The base of the right jamb is decorated with a ram’s head. This ensemble appears to date from the end of the third quarter of the 12th century.
