A pretty Romanesque building. The tower-porch and four-bay nave were built between 1165 and 1180.The cross vaults in the nave were rebuilt in the Gothic period, but the basket-handle double arches are Romanesque. The quality of the sculpted decoration inside and out is remarkable. The Saint-Laurent portal is superb. Its lintel is decorated with two dragons facing each other and spitting fire at a lion’s head, while the surround (jambs) is richly decorated with twisted decorative elements and a vine cordon emerging from the mouths of three faces.
