Église Saint-Pancrace

Presentation

It is thought that in the Middle Ages, a Romanesque church stood on the site of the current building, of which only the bell tower remains. Surrounded by a fortified cemetery, the building was remodelled over the centuries and is thus composed of several distinct styles: the bell tower is Romanesque, the choir is Gothic and the nave is neo-classical, rebuilt in the 19th century. The Romanesque bell tower has a square floor plan and three storeys, the last of which is pierced by semi-circular arched windows. Like the church, it has a gable roof. The church is dedicated to the second saint of ice, Saint-Pancrace.
