Chapel in the cemetery dedicated to Saint Alban

Presentation

The bell tower-choir of the small chapel in the vanished village of Betbur is Romanesque. The nave is modern, but nevertheless contains a few Romanesque elements that have been reused, particularly the windows. An inscription on the transom of the semi-circular triumphal arch indicates that relics were deposited there. Geminated windows have been added to the first floor of the bell tower.
