All that remains of the Romanesque church built around 1220 is the base of the bell tower, which bears witness to a period of transition between the Romanesque and Gothic styles. Inside the bell tower (baptismal chapel on entering on the right, south-west of the nave) is a beautiful Romanesque portal, sculpted and polychrome. Its tympanum, set in a pointed arch, depicts Christ blessing surrounded by the apostles Peter and Paul. The lintel is decorated with a representation of the parable of the wise and foolish virgins: all knock on the door of Paradise, the first are welcomed by Jesus, while the foolish virgins find the door closed.
