All that remains of the Romanesque abbey dedicated to Sainte-Walburge and founded in 1074 is the lower part of the nave. The nave, built of small, uneven rubble stones, is pierced with so-called \u2018keyhole\u2019 windows. Today, the interior is a single nave hall, but it was originally divided into three naves. An interesting Romanesque door lintel from the early 12th century lies on the ground on the north-east side of the nave. It is adorned with a vine shoot bearing large bunches of grapes, one side emerging from the mouth of a dragon and the other from the mouth of a human figure. <\/p>\n
